I am the owner/operator of a single unit
DJ system. As the owner/operator, I can provide personalized
service, tailored to your function.
I am not a "Statue of Liberty" Disc Jockey, who stands or sits still behind their console and acts like a human jukebox. Nor am I the DJ from "Heck" who has to be the center of attention. I interact with your guests using props and personal actions. This ensures positive energy for your show! Tailored interactive routines also serve to provide visual entertainment for your guests that may not dance. Of course, all intended routines are pre confirmed with the Bride and Groom or party planner in a pre event consultation. No Surprises, just great entertainment!
The Show must go on!
I stay in contact with other local area DJ's. If in the event of an emergency, I can call on them for assistance. I also have another DJ who works with me on occasion. Dan is also available in the event that I need him for a personal emergency or a two person show (DJ and EmmCee). No matter what happens, Your show must go on!
DJ Conventions
As strange as it may seem,there are many DJ conventions out there! I have attended 3 conventions to date. The first one was Jan '97 in Las Vegas. I won this award there in '97 and was a runner up against two other competitors in the America Disc Jockey Association's "Propmaster of the Year" competition held in Las Vegas, January of '98. I also attended a Canadian Disc Jockey Association sponsored convention in Saskatoon during the Fall of '97. These conventions are 3 day events, with full days of DJ relevant seminars. The seminars include everything from becoming more interactive in your shows and technical seminars, too improving on, and tailoring your personal customer service.
